• Participated in a conference on AI in Social Security and Work Capacity Assessment, held under the auspices of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in collaboration with EUMASS and the Belgian National College of Insurance Medicine. This event fostered dialogue on the potential of AI to enhance social protection while ensuring safety and inclusivity in these systems.

• Participated in the event “REIMAGINEMOS EL FUTURO: Universidad, Empresa y Sociedad,” organized by Global Academic Network (GAN), UNINDE, and ORP, bringing together leaders, academics, and entrepreneurs to discuss integrated education, cutting-edge research, and the role of ethics in innovation. • Delivered a talk at TecnoBages on “Evolució de la IA: Dels fonaments als models generatius en el context industrial,” an innovation and technology fair organized by Ajuntament de Manresa, CAMBRA DE COMERÇ DE MANRESA, and TIC Bages, exploring the evolution of AI from its foundations to generative models in industrial applications.

• Initiated a collaboration with Tsubaki Nakashima and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center to explore the integration of AI and advanced computing technologies. This partnership aims to drive innovation in precision engineering and computational advancements, pushing the boundaries of AI applications in industrial and research contexts.

• Launched an AI innovation project with Geseme, focusing on enhancing occupational health services through AI-driven solutions, set to revolutionize workplace health and safety management.

• During LEAN ORP Bogotá, together with Postgrados Universidad Autónoma de Chile, we introduced the new International MBA program, which brings together distinguished faculty from Europe, the United States, Colombia, and Chile.

• Also participated in LEAN ORP Bogotá, contributing to discussions on lean practices and AI innovations, further solidifying Somia’s presence in global dialogues on business efficiency and digital transformation.
